    Pollo Tropical’s 2025 Supplier of the Year

    Some partnerships just click. Ours with Pollo Tropical has been one of those relationships for more than 20 years, and we’re proud to share that Catania Oils has been named Pollo Tropical’s 2025 Supplier of the Year.

    For our team, this award is more than another trophy. It represents years of trust, teamwork, honest conversations, and showing up for Pollo Tropical day after day.

Over the years, the Catania team worked closely with Pollo Tropical to simplify supply, support product rollouts across locations, and make sure restaurants always had the products they needed.

    For a growing quick-serve chain, that responsiveness matters. Especially during a year when the edible oils market kept everyone on their toes, our teams stayed in constant communication and worked side by side to navigate challenges together. From sales and customer service to operations, logistics, and production, everybody played a role in keeping things moving.

    “When you’re operating restaurants at scale, consistency matters,” said Joe Brink, Chief Procurement Officer at Pollo Tropical parent Authentic Restaurant Brands, “The Catania team has consistently delivered for us, even during challenging market conditions. They communicate openly, respond quickly, and work with us like true partners. The decision to name them 2025 Supplier of the Year was unanimous.”

    For Chris Edwards, the Catania sales manager supporting the account, the recognition belongs to the entire company.

    “This wasn’t one person’s accomplishment,” Edwards said. “Everybody had a hand in earning this award. That’s what makes Catania special. When our customers need us, we show up, we solve problems together, and we do everything we can to make things easier for them.”
